Furniture that gets a lot of sunlight could reduce the lifespan of your furniture. There is no need to replace the chairs and sofas, however, you should use these tips to increase the lifespan of your leather furniture back to its former condition.
You should get at least three distinct colors of spray for leather. It is possible to mix different leather coatings and shades to create the best results.
Spray around a feet distance. Don’t douse the faded patch simply give it a good light coating. Don’t be apprehensive about catching the threading. Allow the first coat to dry before applying another.
Then add more, creating dark tones along the way. Make sure your strokes are short and aim for an approximate distance of one-foot. After you’ve finished the darker layer, use a sealer to help the color last for longer.
Leather furniture will have some fading. This doesn’t mean that you need to throw it away, as you can use this technique to patch it up in around 10-15 minutes. Go to the image above for a short video showing the procedure.
